Michelle Maitland

Pierce County Sheriff's detectives need your help to locate a missing woman, feared to be the victim of foul play.  Michelle Maitland has been missing under suspicious circumstances since September of 1996.

Michelle Maitland's family reported her missing on September 12th, 1996, after they had not seen or heard from her for several days.  Maitland was last seen by her ex-boyfriend in the 13100 block of 115th St. Ct. in the Gig Harbor area in the days before she was reported missing.  Maitland's vehicle was later found abandoned at the west end of the Narrows Bridge in a gravel parking lot.

At the time of her disappearance Michelle Renee Maitland was a white female, 29 years old, 5'6” tall, 130 lbs., with green eyes and brown hair.  She was living in Olympia and was known to use the nickname "Chelley".  Maitland is the mother of a young child, who she has not contacted since her disappearance.

Detectives are looking for any information regarding Michelle Maitland’s disappearance and/or her whereabouts.
