Tacoma Demonstration Damages

Tacoma Police detectives need your help to identify the suspects responsible for vandalizing and damaging several public buildings. 

Between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. on the night of Sunday January 24, 2021, a group of approximately 100-200 people participated in a demonstration in downtown Tacoma.  As the group walked along Tacoma Ave. between 7th and 11th Street, several unidentified suspects ran from the group and began to smash windows and spray paint on multiple public buildings.  These facilities included the county courthouse, jail, and 911 dispatch/records as well as neighboring businesses. 

The unidentified suspects caused thousands of dollars in damage and endangered the safety of multiple people who were inside the buildings during the incident.
