Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives need your help to identify the suspects responsible for a shooting in the University Place area.  

At 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday December 30, 2020, a victim was shot by unidentified suspects while he and a friend sat in a parked vehicle in the 5300 block of 66th St. W. 

The victim was meeting with the unidentified suspects, who contacted him on social media want to purchase e-cigarettes.  The two suspects walked to the victim’s vehicle and spoke to him briefly, before one of the suspects displayed a handgun and shot the victim.  The victim drove away from the scene and the suspects fled on foot. 

The suspects are described as black males in their 20’s, both with slender builds.
