Stranger Rape in Parkland
Pierce County Sheriff’s detectives need your help to identify the suspect responsible for a sexual assault of a teenage girl.
At 11:00 a.m. on Sunday July 30th, 2017, a teenage girl was walking her dog in the area of 132nd St. S. in Parkland. The girl observed an unidentified black male walking in the neighborhood at the same time, and reported previously seeing the same man often walking back and forth along 132nd St. S.
Shortly after the victim returned home from walking her dog, the same man knocked on the front door of her house; when the girl answered the door, the suspect forced his way inside the house and raped her. The suspect fled the residence on foot.
The suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s or 30’s, approximately 6’ tall, with a medium build and a black goatee.
Detectives are looking for information on any suspicious persons seen in the area of 132nd St. S. and Park Ave. that match the description of the suspect in this sketch.
