Tacoma Police detectives need your help to locate missing child Angela “Angie” Meeker, who is feared to have been a victim of foul play.
Victim Angie Meeker was last seen on July 7th, 1979, as she left her family home on S. 41st St. in the City of Tacoma. Meeker was going to the nearby Tacoma Mall to buy a birthday card for a friend. Later that evening several witnesses believe they saw Meeker at a party. She did not return home and has not been seen or heard from since.
At the time of her disappearance Angie Meeker was a white female, 13 years old, 5’1” tall, 100 lbs., with brown hair and hazel eyes. She may have been wearing a black floral print shirt, a satin jacket, blue jeans, sandals, and a black felt hat with red feathers on it. Her 14th birthday was two days after she disappeared.
Detectives are looking for information on any suspects involved in Angie Meeker’s disappearance.
Receive up to $21,000 dollars for information leading to the arrest, charges filed, and conviction of the person or persons responsible in this case. The FBI has contributed $20,000 in addition to the $1000 reward offered through Crime Stoppers. The $1,000 through Crime Stoppers is being offered for arrest and charges filed; the additional $20,000 from the FBI is offered for arrest and/or location of the missing person.
